The preesure on the casting of a 360 and 550 wiper arm base slowly bends the arm over time until it eventually starts to catch the bonnet - which is an MOT failure, they can be successfully realigned once for sure and sometimes twice.
Firstly mark the wiper position on the windscreen (masking tape is good for this)
Then remove the wiper assembly.
Wrap the base in a strong protective material so it can be held in a vice without marking it (tank tape works rather well)
Gently heat up the arm with a modeling hot air gun only on the non facing edge.
Firmly but symathetically pull the wiper arm back about 5 degrees (10 will crack it)
Allow to cool, then refit.
